Ready made sock monkeys that you can use as a great children’s party theme/ make and take.

Other people have purchased these as a craft for a retirement party (no more monkey business, let’s monkey around themes), or as a craft for children to do at a wedding.

Some ideas on how you can decorate your monkeys that you can pick up at your local craft store are: fabric paint, other paints, patches, embroidery, more buttons, pom poms, buttons, the sky is the limit. You can really tailor this to most age groups- it just depends on what you add as the extras - remember to keep it safe! Some age groups would be better with glue- others with needle and thread.
